Blastocyst

The Animal Reproduction Company currently consists of Dr Richard Fry, Dr Colin Earl, Kerry Fry, Susan Harris and Katrina Copping.

The company has two laboratories, one based in Melbourne, Victoria and one based in Struan, South Australia.  The facility in Melbourne is leased from the Victorian Institute of Animal Science and the facility at Struan is leased from the South Australian Research and Development Institute.  A facility is also currently being established in Brisbane, Queensland.

Using transportable incubators to ship oocytes to one of the two laboratories the Animal reproduction Company can provide a service over most of Australia since the only limitation is that the oocytes arrive at one of the laboratories within 24 hours of collection.

Dr Richard Fry and Dr Colin Earl have experience working in many aspects of reproduction in both cattle and sheep.

Dr Fry is the leading exponent of ultrasound pickup technology in Australia especially concentrating on collection from very young calves.

Dr Earl developed the in vitro embryo production techniques necessary for the production of embryos from oocytes collected from juveniles.
